Annual Pastors, Leaders, And Laymen Conference On December 3

(Albany, NY) – The Northeast Branch of Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary is hosting its third annual Pastors, Leaders, and Laymen Conference featuring Dr. Johnny Hunt, pastor of First Baptist Church Woodstock, Georgia. Dr. Hunt has served as pastor of FBC Woodstock for over thirty years and has also led the Southern Baptist Convention as its president from 2008-2010. Dr. Hunt will soon become the Senior Vice President of Evangelism and Leadership at the North American Mission Board.

He has a wealth of leadership experience at both the pastoral and executive levels and as in previous conferences he will continue to teach on the subject of leadership. He will tackle the topics of “the leader I want to be” and “finishing well” and including “the disciplines and devotions of church leadership.”

If you are a pastor, the Pastors, Leaders, and Laymen conference is a great place to refresh your leadership skills and it is also a great place to bring your staff or any leadership interns you may be mentoring. Additionally, the Pastors, Leaders, and Laymen conference is an excellent venue for laymen to investigate the leadership dynamic as it unfolds in the environment of the church.
