Author Lisa T. Garland shares ‘Heartfelt Prayers for My Friends’

(New York, NY) – Lisa T. Garland believes in the power of prayer. She prays that many souls will be won to Jesus Christ as God uses her to write and testify of His goodness in her life. To help others gain a deeper understanding of prayer, Garland releases “Heartfelt Prayers for My Friends” (published by Xlibris).

The book is about what prayer is, different types of prayer, the importance of prayer, and when God answers prayers. It also includes prayers written to friends that will encourage and inspire the reader to seek a close and personal relationship with God.

An excerpt from the book reads:

There is power in words. The words that we speak can create positive or negative images in our minds, which cause us to think, feel, or act a certain way that affects our reality.  Therefore, if we speak positively over our lives, we can have what we believe by trusting God and submitting to His will and plan for our lives.

“Don’t be afraid to pray. God is waiting to hear from you,” says Garland. “Allow the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you in all areas of your life and you will obtain your reward from God.”
