Promiseland Quartet Returns For Dinner & Concert

By Joyce Spamer

For seven years now Bob and Joyce Spamer of Southern Gospel NY have been bringing in Gospel Concerts to the Rochester area. After many Great concerts they have found that people seem to love a Dinner/Concert Special.

In September 2016 they brought in a group from Virginia called PromiseLand Quartet. At the end of the concert there was one remark they heard over and over again, “When are you bringing them back?” Well they are returning to The Whittier Party House for a Dinner/Concert on November 4, 2017.

PromisedLand Quartet was formed in January 2000 with a goal of touring (1) week-end a month. That lasted for about (3) months and the rest is history.

Traveling and working over 120 dates per year this group has won the hearts of thousands. Their off stage love, and accessibility, both too, and for the folks that come to their concerts, is one of the things that people seem to appreciate most. Their desire to provide the finest in quality music while effectively ministering to the lost, and hurting, is truly the objective in each and every concert.

The group has enjoyed radio & chart success with songs like: Brand New Heart, In the Morning, Crown Him King, Gods Word Will Stand, & Carved in Stone.

In 2008 “PromisedLand Quartet” was honored with a Dove Award consideration in the category of Southern Gospel album of the year for their project entitled “Carved in Stone.”

Most recently the group has appeared on Christian TV via the Daystar Network, NRB Network, World Harvest, and Gospel Music Television, making multiple appearances on “Great American Gospel” & “Great American Gospel Onstage.” In 2015 PromisedLand Quartet  was honored to appear on the Main Stage of the National Quartet Convention in Pigeon Forge, TN.
