Returning to Rochester for the 3rd time we are proud to be having The Hyssongs come to Cornerstone Bible Church at 3231 Buffalo Road Rochester, NY 14624 for a Dinner/Concert.  Tickets are only $35 per person. Food will be prepared by Rochester’s Paradise Catering.

Members of the Hyssong family are Dell and his wife Susan and their son Richard. Richard and his wife Kelly have 2 children and they also travel with the family.

Dell, Susan and Richard Hyssong travel full-time as the award-winning Hyssongs. Their energetic ministry combines family vocal harmony, humor and brass instruments (trumpet and trombone) to delight audiences with their Christ-centered message, shared through the powerful medium of music. The family’s classical music background, along with their harmony and specific chord structures, lend them a unique sound that has made quite an impact on audiences.

The group has been singing together as a family for more than 19 years. In that time, the Hyssongs have received many accolades for their quality, inspirational Southern Gospel sound. The group was awarded the Singing News Fan Award for 2014 Favorite New Trio at the National Quartet Convention, Pigeon Forge, TN and Artist of the Year 2017 with Southern Gospel NY, out of Rochester NY.

They have consistently placed songs on the Southern Gospel Radio charts. They have had many Top 40 songs, four Top 20 songs, and most recently, their song “I Was Blind, But Now I See” reached #7 and “Lead Me To The Rock” climbed to #8 on the Singing News Chart. Other songs to hit the Charts are “I Tell them Jesus” which is about the trials that Richard and his wife went thru at the birth of their first child – Makayla…and “Let the Hallelujah’s Ring” which is climbing the charts.

Dell has also written 2 books – One called Makayla Heart (also about their daughter’s trails) and Joy for the Journey – which tells story of their time and experiences on the road while serving our Lord and Savior.

The Hyssongs were the cover story in the March 2015 Singing News Magazine and have been featured in Christian Voice Magazine several times.  Recently they were listed among ten artists by as ones to watch in 2015 and voted Top 10 Trio by Singing News Fans. The group has also been featured on Paul Heil’s “The Gospel Greats” radio program.

The Hyssongs perform at more than 250 events each year throughout the United States and Canada. They minister in churches, auditoriums and on Gospel singing cruises, as well as on television and radio.

The Hyssongs have had the opportunity to sing to an audience of over 12,000 people on the main stage at the National Quartet Convention, perform at Renfro Valley’s All-Night Sing, annually perform at Dollywood, as well as Silver Dollar City. Through Compassion International, the group has also been privileged to sing in El Salvador, Central America.
