“Families Living in Wholeness of Mind, Body, and Spirit” is the theme for this year’s “Health is a Spiritual Matter” Conference sponsored by the Interdenominational Health Ministry Coalition (IHMC) which will take place on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM EDT.
This is the third year for the conference which seeks to inspire, educate, inform, and empower the faith community to address, holistically, the spiritual and social determinants of health that are negatively impacting health outcomes, and driving health disparities and inequities. The “Health Is A Spiritual Matter” conferences provides biblical based inspiration for congregations to establish health ministries, and ongoing evidence and spiritual based education for those engaged in health ministry. These ministries then inform, empower and support congregants in managing their health and healthcare which serves to elicit better health outcomes, reduce health disparities. All of which help people enter into that place of wholeness of Mind, Body, and, Spirit which we all desire.
We invite the community to join us, and get inspired! Keynote speaker: The Reverend Wade Norwood, Pastor of Holy Jerusalem Spiritual Church and chief strategy officer of Common Ground Health. Dynamic praise and worship.
